Jayne Patton is a seasoned bible study teacher and speaker. A former Director of Women’s Ministry at FBC Wentzville and has traveled around Missouri speaking at venues in association with the Women’s Ministry branch of the Missouri Baptist Convention. She calls herself an “old-school Wentzville girl” but has managed to stay rooted in Wentzville, Missouri now that there’s a Taco Bell in town.
Her deepest desire is to teach the truths found in the Word of God. In our time together, Jayne recounts her story of growing up in a small town that encouraged marriage as “MAKING IT” in life. She soon found that putting her identity in her role as a wife quickly fell flat.
Learning to surrender to Jesus was the beginning of freedom for Jayne. It was so great to ruminate in truth with her and I hope you enjoy her gems of wisdom she shares with us.
